Chloe Smith MP welcomes the launch of the Blue Ribbon Foundation in Parliament

Member of Parliament for Norwich North, Chloe Smith, will next week welcome the Blue Ribbon Foundation, of which she is Patron, to Parliament to celebrate their launch.

Started by a constituent who fought prostate cancer after a shock diagnosis, the Blue Ribbon Foundation raises awareness of male cancers and men’s health issues.  It has three clear goals:

•       To raise awareness of male health issues – particularly cancer.

•       To use the Blue Ribbon as a rallying banner to help bring about awareness; and to encourage other male health  charities to adopt the ribbon.

•       To support other male health and cancer charities by offering grants.

Chloe will be speaking at the event, sponsored by Hastings Direct, to raise national awareness of men’s health issues. Chloe hopes that they will be joined by many of her Westminster colleagues so that they too can go on to promote men’s health in their constituencies.
